Hi, I’m Austin, and I’ve spent my career in the automotive industry focused on making service operations run better—for both customers and teams behind the scenes. I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of improving processes, building strong teams, and creating experiences that feel seamless for the customer.
Most recently, as Fixed Operations Director at a GMC dealership, I led efforts to streamline service and parts operations, implement lean processes, and significantly improve turnaround times. Prior to that, as Service Manager at Mazda at Gladstone, I focused on recruiting, training, and developing staff while building high-performing teams from the ground up and consistently exceeding key OEM metrics and customer satisfaction goals.
Throughout my career, including leadership roles at Shift and Lithia Motors, I’ve had the opportunity to oversee everything from multi-department operations to used vehicle management. What drives me most is helping teams work smarter, delivering better experiences for customers, and continuously raising the bar for what great service looks like.

Hi, I’m Bo, and I’ve spent my career in the automotive industry focused on helping people feel more confident when it comes to their vehicles. I joined RepairPal in August 2022 after working in a family-owned shop, where I built my foundation in customer education, problem-solving, and delivering a great experience.
That hands-on background continues to shape how I approach my work today. I’m driven by the challenge of finding answers—especially in complex situations—and making those answers clear and accessible. I’m also passionate about transparency in the industry and helping create a more inclusive, welcoming environment for both customers and technicians.
Outside of work, I collect B-movie VHS tapes and have created a few low-budget films with friends. I’ve also written and distributed a horror comic book with my best friend of 42 years, which reflects my love for creativity and storytelling.

Hi, I’m Pete, and I’ve spent nearly three decades working in the automotive industry, starting my career in the late ’90s and working my way from detailing into advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to train extensively with GM and Mercedes-Benz, building a strong foundation in diagnosing and repairing vehicles from bumper to bumper.
Since 2009, I’ve worked as an online automotive expert, helping customers and shops navigate complex repair questions and real-world challenges. I enjoy breaking things down in a way that makes sense and sharing practical knowledge that helps people feel more confident about their vehicles.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening (especially growing hot peppers), building PCs, and spending time outdoors. I’m also always happy to help friends and family with their cars—and I even had a fun experience appearing as a state trooper extra in Season 5 of Yellowstone.

To become RepairPal Certified, shops must meet specific quality standards. One of those standards is in relation to customer satisfaction, and RepairPal measures that by independently surveying their customers. Not only must a shop meet that standard, but they must maintain it to keep their RepairPal Certified status.
RepairPal has invested considerable resources and effort to build a Fair Price Estimator, with the goal being to provide fair price ranges on hundreds of mechanical repairs for most vehicle models dating back to 1990. RepairPal Certified shops agree to honor the price ranges quoted in their Fair Price Estimator, so customers can have confidence that they are paying a reasonable price for quality work.
The Fair Price Estimator draws from several industry standard labor guides and OEM part pricing feeds, as well as local shop labor rates for a given area.
All repair estimates derived from RepairPal’s Fair Price Estimator are guaranteed by RepairPal for up to 30 days from the date generated.
RepairPal Certified shops begin by completing a thorough diagnosis of your vehicle, which typically involves a combination of visual inspection and the use of scan tools that can detect problem codes.
It’s important to give the shop as much information as possible when bringing the vehicle in, including, but not limited to:
In the rare event that your repair has failed, simply contact the RepairPal Certified shop that completed your original service and they will honor their service warranty.
The minimum 12 month/12,000 mile warranty is provided by the RepairPal Certified shop, and is subject to exclusions, including but not limited to normal wear and tear items (such as tires, brake pads, clutches, wiper blades, etc.), wheel alignments and scheduled maintenance.
